Why Producing Fresh Content is Important for Trades
Writing high quality content is very important when it comes to SEO for trades. Here’s why:

If you can, try to include your selected keyword phrase (known as long-tail keywords) in your post url (also known as a slug), in the title of your blog, in the first paragraph of your blog and in the headings of your post.
Before you get stuck in to the writing process, you should first do a little preparation. This way, the writing process will be as simple and as straightforward as possible. All you need to do is to ask yourself a few questions:
- What is the purpose of your blog post?
- What is the message?
- What is your target audience?
- Do you need any information?
For this step, try not to overthink the writing process too much. Your first draft most definitely does not need to be perfect. We recommend that your blog post be at the very least 300 words. We usually aim to write our blogs between 500 and 600 words.
While it’s very important that Google ‘reads’ your text, it is equally important that it readable by a human audience. Churning out content for content’s sake will not be beneficial to you, and neither will a well-written blog post that no one reads. Keep in mind both search engines and people will be ‘reading’ your blog.
Before you publish your blog post, it’s important that you or someone else revises what you’ve written. If possible, get someone to look over your blog post for any spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. As well as checking for any mistakes, you should check that your blog post is well structured (make proper use of headings), check that what you’ve written contains the keywords that you’re trying to rank for.
Once you’ve written your blog post, be sure to share what you’ve written on social media. Don’t just link to your general blog page, but rather to the blog post itself.
